AFP-Virginia
AFP-VA is a first in class, premier grassroots organization that aims to give Virginians the pathway to success that they deserve. Through commonsense policy change in Richmond, we aim to provide real change to empower parents in education, increase energy abundance in the Commonwealth, and allow families to keep more of their hard earned money in their pockets.
About Us
AFP Virginia works to enact real policy change to allow all Virginians the opportunity to pursue their American Dream. Focusing on grassroots activism, we provide a voice for constituents during the legislative session via personal testimony, policy days at the Capitol, and more.
Outside of the legislative session, we work to educate, motivate, and activate Virginians through issues that matter to them. Whether it is working to reduce regulations that stifle innovation, fighting against tax increases that put a strain on family budgets, or empowering parents to have the decision rights over their child’s education, we are on the ground working for a better pathway to prosperity.
Priorities
The Economy
America is in the middle of an economic crisis. Unsustainable government spending and burdensome regulations have driven up inflation and resulted in high food, energy, and housing costs — limiting the economic progress of nearly every American. That’s why we’re working to reduce wasteful spending, unleash energy abundance, and empower workers to prove prosperity is still possible and together we can reignite the American Dream.
Education
All students deserve the opportunity to discover, develop, and deploy their unique passions and talents. Instead of limiting families to a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to education, we should expand their available choices so they can customize their student’s educational options in ways that best suit their unique needs.
Energy
Through an “all of the above” approach to Virginia’s energy sector, we are working to increase energy production and bring down energy costs for families in the Commonwealth. Through American innovation, both new and old ways of energy production will empower Virginians to pursue their American Dream.
