Policy Agenda

The 2025 General Assembly will face a defining vote: whether Virginia continues as an open-for-business, worker-freedom state or slides backward into the failed model of compulsory unionism that has hurt so many other states. Americans for Prosperity-Virginia stands firmly on the side of individual liberty, voluntary association, and the belief that the best workers rise to the top when government gets out of the way. We urge every Virginian who believes that hard work and personal choice—not union cards—should determine success to join us in this fight. Together, we will protect and strengthen Right to Work, keeping Virginia the land of opportunity where every worker can thrive on their own terms.
