Americans for Prosperity-Virginia Endorses Del. Wendell Walker for Re-Election

LYNCHBURG, VA – Americans for Prosperity-Virginia (AFP-VA) today announced its endorsement of Delegate Wendell Walker (HD-52) for re-election to the Virginia House of Delegates. A consistent and principled champion for economic freedom, Delegate Walker has partnered closely with AFP-VA to advance key policy priorities that improve the lives of all Virginians.

Walker has played a leading role in efforts to expand school choice, roll back burdensome Certificate of Need (CON) laws, and promote greater transparency and accountability through tax reform. Notably, he worked with AFP and Democrats to advance a “truth in taxation” bill, taking himself off as chief sponsor to boost the bill’s bipartisan appeal and improve its chances of passage.
